Solution:

DNA is a polymer of deoxyribonucleotide that is found in chromosomes, mitochondria, and chloroplast. It carries genetic information. DNA is composed of nucleotides so radiolabeled nucleotides are used for the synthesis of DNA during replication. But in plant cells, the DNA is present in the nucleus so when plant cells are examined these radioactive nucleotides are found inside the nucleus.
