Solution:

$x=1$ (i.e. $CaCO_{3}$ )
$y=5$ (all except carbonate of Potassium easily undergo decomposition)
$z=6$ (all liberate $CO_{2}$ with mineral acid)
$x+y+z=1+5+6=12$
