Q. Among $1-4$, the complexes that can show geometrical isomerism are
1. $\left[ Pt \left( NH _{3}\right)_{3} Cl \right]^{+}$
2. $\left[ Pt \left( NH _{3}\right) Cl _{5}\right]^{-}$
3. $\left[ Pt \left( NH _{3}\right)_{2} Cl ( ONO )\right]$
4. $\left[ Pt \left( NH _{3}\right)_{4} ClBr \right]^{2+}$

Solution:

$\left[\text{Pt} \left(\left(\text{NH}\right)_{\text{3}}\right)_{\text{2}} \text{Cl} \left(\text{ONO}\right)\right] \, \text{and} \, \left(\left[\text{Pt} \left(\left(\text{NH}\right)_{\text{3}}\right)_{\text{4}} \text{ClBr}\right]\right)^{\text{2+}}$
$\left[\text{MA}_{\text{2}} \text{BC}\right] \, \Rightarrow \, \text{2} \text{.G} \text{.I}$
$\left[\text{MA}_{\text{4}} \text{BC}\right] \, \Rightarrow \, \text{2} \text{.G} \text{.I}$
Hence these two can show geometrical isomerism.
