Autogamy involves just one flower of plant for the purpose of pollination. Aleuron layer is found in endosperm of maize, it comprises aleurone cells having thick walls. Each cell has several alverone grains. An aleurone gram is composed of protein phytin, phospholipids and carbohydrates.
