Solution:

Parasympathetic ganglia are the ganglia of autonomic nervous system composed of cholinergic neurons receiving afferent fibres originating from preganglionic visceral motor neurons in either the brainstem or the middle sacral segments of spinal cord. There are four paired parasympathetic ganglia of head and neck-pterygopalatine ganglion (found in pterygopalatine fossa), submandibular ganglion (located on hyoglossus muscle), otic ganglion (located immediately below the foramen ovale in the infratemporal fossa )and ciliary ganglion (located in the posterior orbit).
