Monera is the kingdom of procaryote. Blue green algae (BGA) are included in monera because their cell wall contains peptidoglycan & polysaccharides (other than cellulose), naked DNA, 70S ribosomes & absence of membrane bound structures like mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum etc.
