Mechanical Properties of Solids

Solution:

Stress $=\frac{F}{A}$
So Stress $\propto \frac{1}{A}$
Since, we are not reducing the cross sectional area of the wire.
Therefore each part can still sustain same force
i.e, $15 \,kg$ weight.
