Solution:

Given : Rice =' $x$' quintals
wheat = '$y$' quintals
Profit: $₹ 40$ on per quintal of rice
$₹ 25$ on per quintal of wheat
$\therefore $ Net Profit $=40\, x+25\, y$
$\therefore $ The objective function to maximize profit is
$40\, x+25\, y$
