Solution:

Force on bottom of vessel $= P \times A = h \rho g \times A$
$\therefore F=0.9 \times 1000 \times 9.8 \times 4 \times 10^{-3}$
$\therefore F=35.28 \times 10^{-3} \times 10^{3}=35.28 N$
