In the fundamental mode of vibration,
$\left(l+0.3\,D\right)=\frac{\lambda}{4}=\frac{v}{4\upsilon}$
$\therefore v=4\upsilon\left(l+0.3 \,D\right)=4 \times440 \left(0.18+0.3\times0.05\right)$
$v=343\, m \, s^{-1}$
