Solution:

A scientific name having the same generic name and specific name is called tautonyms. Tautonyms are accepted for animals but not accepted for plants.
The use of a binomial name consisting of the same word twice. But this practice is no longer approved by the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature (ICBN).
Example Ratus ratus, Naja naja, Catla catla.
