NEETNEET 2013Motion in a Straight Line

Solution:

$h _{1}=\frac{1}{2} gt ^{2}=\frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 5^{2}=125$
$h _{2}=\frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 10^{2}-\frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 5^{2}=375$
$h _{3}=\frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 15^{2}-\frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 10^{2}=625$
Hence $h _{1}=\frac{ h _{2}}{3}=\frac{ h _{3}}{5}$
