Q. A solution is $10\%NaOH$ by mass has density $1.2g/ml$ . What volume of this solution should contain $6mol$ of $NaOH$ ?

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020

Solution:

Mass of $NaOH=6\times 40=200g$
Let mass of solution $wg$
$NaOH=\frac{w \times 10}{100}=240$
volume of solution required $=\frac{m}{d}=\frac{2400}{1 . 2}ml$
$=2000ml$
$=2L$
