Q. A small hollow sphere which has a small hole in it is immersed in water to a depth of $20 cm$ before any water is penetrated into it. If the surface tension of water is $0.073 Nm ^{-1}$, what is the radius of the hole?

$P =\frac{2 S }{ R } $
$\Rightarrow R =\frac{2 S }{ P }$
$=\frac{2 \times 0.073}{0.2 \times 10^{3} \times 9.8}$
$=0.0744 \times 10^{-3}$
$R =0.07 mm$
