$S _{ n }=0+\frac{1}{2} a (2 n -1)$
$S _{ n +1}=0+\frac{1}{2} a (2( n +1)-1)$
$=\frac{1}{2} a (2 n +1)$
$\frac{ S _{ n }}{ S _{ n +1}}=\frac{(2 n -1)}{(2 n +1)}$
