Solution:

$Ba ^{+2}+2 CH _{3} COO ^{-} \rightarrow\left( CH _{3} COO \right)_{2} Ba$

$BaS_{2}O_{3}$ gives $SO_{2}$ gas with dil. $HCl$ and also yellow ppt. of Barium chromate.

$\left( CH _{3} COO \right)_{2} Ba + K _{2} CrO _{4} \rightarrow 2 CH _{3} COOK +\underset{\text { (yellow ppt. })}{ BaCrO _{4} \downarrow}$
