Rhyniagwynne-vaughanii,Asteroxylonmackiei and Aglaophyton major are all fossil plants of lower Devonian period. Rhynia and Asteroxylon plants are rootless and possess true vascular tissues. However, Aglaophyton major differs from these plants in the respect that it does not possess true vascular tissue.
