$i+e=A+\delta$
$38^{\circ}$ and $58^{\circ}$ can be $i$ or $e$ in the equation as $\delta$ will be same for both values of incidence ray.
$38^{\circ}+58^{\circ}=A+50^{\circ}$
$\therefore A=46^{\circ}$
