Q. A particle is projected with velocity 100 mis at 30°. Time of flight is

COMEDKCOMEDK 2006Motion in a Plane

Solution:

As, $T = \frac{2u \sin \theta}{g}$
Here, $u = 100 \, m \, s^{-1} , \theta = 30^\circ , g = 10 \, m\, s^{-2}$
$ \therefore \:\:\: T = \frac{2 \times 100 \times \sin 30^\circ }{10} = 10 s$
