Q. A particle experiences a constant acceleration for $50$ second after starting from rest. If it travels a distance $s _{1}$ in first $25$ second and distance $s _{2}$ in the next $25\, \sec$, then :-

Motion in a Straight Line

Solution:

$s_{1}=\frac{1}{2} a(25)^{2}$ and $s=\frac{1}{2} a(50)^{2}=4 s_{1}$
$\therefore s _{2}= s - s _{1}=3 s _{1}$
