Solution:

Force on a moving charge, $\overset{ \rightarrow }{F}=q\left(\overset{ \rightarrow }{v} \times \overset{ \rightarrow }{B}\right)$
Here, $\because q=-ve \, $
$\Rightarrow \overset{ \rightarrow }{F}=-q\left(\overset{ \rightarrow }{v} \times \overset{ \rightarrow }{B}\right)$
$\therefore \text{motion of}-q\text{ is towards the wire.}$
