Laws of Motion

Solution:

$v ^{2}- u ^{2}=2$ as
$0- u ^{2}=2 \times-5 \times 100$
$- u ^{2}=-2 \times 500$
$ \Rightarrow u =\sqrt{1000}=31.6 m / s$
Impulse = change in momentum
$=m(v-u)=0.1(0-31.6)=-3.16 Ns$
