Molecular weight $ =2\times $ vapour density
$ =2\times 70 $
$ =140 $
$ \therefore $ $ {{(CO)}_{x}}=140 $
or $ {{(12+16)}_{x}}=140 $
or $ 28x=140 $
$ \therefore $ $ x=5 $
