Solution:

Depending on the arrangement from where they develop, the fruit can be categorized as simple fruits, aggregate fruits, multiple fruits, and accessory fruits. When a fruit develops from a single ovary (monocarpellary) of a single flower it is known as a simple fruit, eg: plum and peaches, which may be fleshy, and walnuts which fall in the dry category. Aggregate fruits are the ones that are formed from several ovaries (polycarpellary) of a single flower, eg: strawberry. Composite or multiple fruits develop from different flowers of a whole inflorescence group together, eg: pineapple, figs etc.
