$\frac{1}{f}=(\mu-1)\left(\frac{1}{R_{1}}-\frac{1}{R_{2}}\right)$
For double convex lens,
$\mu=1.5, R_{1}=+20 cm , R_{2}=-20$
$\frac{1}{f}=(1.5-1)\left(\frac{1}{(+20)}-\frac{1}{(-20)}\right)$
$\frac{1}{f}=0.5\left[\frac{2}{20}\right] \Rightarrow f=+20 cm$
