AFMCAFMC 2003Motion in a Plane

Solution:

When a cyclist moves on a circular path, it experience a centrifugal force which is equal to $mv ^{2} / r$ .It tries to overturn the cyclist in outward direction. If speed increase twice, the value of centrifugal force too increase to 4 times its earlier value. Therefore the change of overturning in $1 / 4$ times.
