Q. A coil of resistance $100\, \Omega$ is placed in a magnetic field. If the magnetic flux $\phi$ linked with the coil varies with time $t$ as $\phi=3 t^{2}+2 t+4$ The current in the coil at $t=3 s$ is

Solution:

$e=\frac{d \phi}{d t}=6 t+2$
$\Rightarrow i=\frac{e}{R}=\frac{6 t+2}{100}$
$=0.2 \,A$ at $t=3 \,s$
