Motion in a Straight Line
A
$ 1:3:5 $
71%
B
$ 1:2:3 $
8%
C
$ 1:4:9 $
18%
D
$ 1:5:6 $
3%
Solution:
According to equation of motion, distance covered in $n$th $\sec$.
$S_{n} =u=\frac{a}{2}(2 n-1)$
$S_{n} =\frac{a}{2}(2 n-1)$
$\therefore S_{1}: S_{2}: S_{3}=\{2(1)-1\}:\{2(2)-1\}:\{2(3)-1\}$
$=1: 3: 5$
