Solution:

When light travels from rarer to denser medium its wavelength reduces. Wavelength in
water $=\frac{\lambda_{a}}{\mu_{w}}$
$=\frac{500}{(4 / 3)}=375 nm \approx 376 nm \text { (Blue colour) }$
