Q. A ball of mass $m$ is projected upward with a speed $v_0$. The speed at a height $h$ is (Neglecting air resistance)

KEAMKEAM 2019Motion in a Plane

Solution:

If a ball of mass $m$ and speed $v_{0}$ is thrown upward, then speed at, height $h$ is
$v=v_{0} \sin \theta-2 g h$
So, the speed depends on the direction of projection i.e. $\sin \theta$, if $v_{0}, g$ and $h$ are constant.
