KEAM 2019
Motion in a Plane
A
independent of angle and direction of projection
0%
B
independent of mass, angle and the direction of projection
0%
C
dependent on the direction of projection
100%
D
dependent on the shape, size and mass of the ball and angle of projection
0%
E
dependent on mass of the ball but independent of the angle and direction of projection
0%
Solution:
If a ball of mass $m$ and speed $v_{0}$ is thrown upward, then speed at, height $h$ is
$v=v_{0} \sin \theta-2 g h$
So, the speed depends on the direction of projection i.e. $\sin \theta$, if $v_{0}, g$ and $h$ are constant.
