Q. A 50 turns circular coil has a radius of $3 cm$, it is kept in a magnetic field acting normal to the area of the coil. The magnetic field B increased from 0.10 to 0.35 tesla in $2 ms$. The average induced emf in the coil is:

Electromagnetic Induction

Solution:

$e =- N \frac{\left( B _{2}- B _{1}\right)}{\Delta t } A \cos \theta$
$=\frac{-50(0.35-0.10) \times \pi\left(3 \times 10^{-2}\right)^{2} \times \cos 0^{0}}{2 \times 10^{-3}}=17.7$ volt
