Acetic acid on electrolysis gives ethane as

Given moles of acetic acid,

$CH _{3} COOH =\frac{0.1 \times 100}{1000}=0.01$

$\because 2\, mol CH _{3} COOH$ gives $C _{2} H _{6}=22.4\, L$

$\therefore 0.01 \,mol CH _{3} COOH$ will give

$C _{2} H _{6}=\frac{22.4 \times 0.01}{2}$

$=0.112\, L$

$=112\, mL$
