TS EAMCET 2018

Solution:

Mole fraction of $NaCl$

$=\frac{\text { Number of mole of } NaCl }{\text { Total number of mole of solution }}$

$100\, g$ water $=\frac{100}{18}$ mol water $=5.5\, mol$

Mole fraction of $NaCl =\frac{0.1}{0.1+5.5}=\frac{0.1}{5.6}=0.178$
