Solution:

Refractive index of glass with respect to water
$_{w}n^{g} =\frac{ ^{n}g}{n_{w}} = \frac{v_{w}}{v_{g}} = \frac{v\lambda_{w}}{v\lambda_{g}} = \frac{5}{4}$
or $ n_{g} = \frac{5}{4} \times n_{w} = \frac{5}{4} \times \frac{4}{3} = \frac{5}{3}$
