Solution:
The structure of teeth can be divided into three regions:a) Crown: The hard chewing surface covering of the teeth is made up of enamel which helps in the mastication of food. This enamel is the hardest substance of the human body. This enamel is non-living part of tooth. Below it the living part of tooth is present which is called as ameloblast dentine and it forms enamel. This dentine covers the cavity of tooth called as pulp cavity. Canaliculi connects pulp cavity to enamel. b) Neck: It is formed by sockets and gums. c) Root: It forms the part of pulp cavity. The pulp cavity contains the small cavity which provides nerves and blood capillaries to teeth and it enters tooth from an opening called as apical foreman. The hollow cavity of pulp is called as root canal. The outer covering of root is called as cementum. Cementum connects the root with the jaw bone.
