Solution:

Key Idea: Universal property is almost independent of temperature. In diamagnedc substances, the atomic electrons from "pairs" in which the magnetic moments of the electrons are mutually cancelled. When placed in a magnetising field, one electron in each pair is accelerated and the other is slowed down so that a net magnetic moment is induced. This has nothing to do with temperature or thermal agitation. Hence, diamagnetism is almost independent of temperature and it is a universal property among paramagnetism, ferromagnetism and non-magnetism.
