Polysaccharide having only one type of monosaccharide are called homopolymers. Polymers of glucose are called as Glucans. Glycogen, cellulose, and starch are polymers of glucose. Inulin is the naturally occurring polysaccharide, composed mainly of fructose units, and it can have a terminal glucose unit. So, inulin, which contains terminal glucose units is a heteropolymer, and inulin which has no terminal glucose units is a homopolymer.
