It is given that acceleration due to gravity on plane. A is 9 times the acceleration due to gravity on planet B i.e., gA=9gB ..(i)
From third equation of motion v2=2gh
At planet A,hA=2gAv2 ...(ii)
At planet S,HB=2gBv2 ...(iii)
Dividing Eq. (ii) by Eq. (iii) we have hBhA=gA9gB
From Eq. (i), gA=9gB ∴hBhA=9gBgB=91
or hB=9hB=9×2=18m (∴hA=2m)
