Solution:

Genetic drift or Sewall Wright effect is change in the allelic frequency of a population. This occurs due to random sampling and is seen in small populations. Genetic drift can be of two types: Bottleneck effect and Founder effect. When random change occurs in a population due to any disaster events ,it is known as bottlenec effect. In Founder effect only few individuals colonise an island thus changing the gene frequency.
