Solution:

Mitochondria is an important organelle in the eukaryotic cell as it the centre for conducting aerobic respiration. It is semi autonomous having its own circular dsDNA with ribosome and RNA molecule for protein synthesis. The inner membrane of mitochondria is internally looped to form cristae. The mitochondria can replicate itself and increase the copies via fission process similar to the prokaryotic one.
