Malpighian tubules are the main excretory structures in cockroach. They extract nitrogenous wastes and water from haemolymph and reabsorb certain salts resulting in precipitation of uric acid. So, cockroach is uricotelic. Males have paired anal styles on 9th abdominal stemite which are absent in females.
