Photochemical smog differs from chemical fog by occurring in warm, dry and sunny climate. The main components of the photochemical smog are unsaturated hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides produced by automobiles and factories. Photochemical smog is made by the deposition of dust and carbon particles on the pollutant gases and water vapours. The gases found in photochemical smog are NO2, PAN, O3, etc.
