Centrosomes are also known as diplosomes. These are the characteristic feature of animal cells. Which help in the spindle formation during cell division and in the movement of separating chromosomes during nuclear division. Nerve cell lacks centrosome thus, does not possess the ability to divide. While, nucleus, Golgi body and mitochondria all are present in the nerve cell.
