Cerebellum is the second largest part, which is very well developed in humans. It has two larger lateral furrowed (with convolutions) cerebellar hemispheres and a middk smafl worm-like vermis. Cerebellum pnwdes directions at the unconscious level. Its coordination with conscious directions determines when and how to move body parts.
They may, however, involve learning in early stages. Cerebellum is essential for controlling rapid muscular activities (eg, running, typing, talking). Other functions are-equilibrium of body, moderation of voluntary movements, maintenance of muscle tone.
