Solution:

Spermatogenesis is the process of gametogenesis in males involved in the production of sperms. After the secondary spermatocytes are formed from the primary spermatocytes they undergo the second meiotic division to produce four equal, haploid spermatids. These spermatids get transformed into spermatozoa or sperms by spermiogenesis. After the sperms are formed the sperms are released through spermiation.
Spermiation is the process in which sperms are detached from Sertoli cells and are released from the seminiferous tubules to vasa efferentia and from here they are transported to the epididymis where functional maturation of sperms takes place.
