Hydrach succession begins in water bodies and continues till mesic conditions are obtained. Xerach succession begins in dry land and continues till mesic conditions are obtained. Mesic condition in both successions is the same, neither too dry nor too wet. The community here is in near equilibrium with the environment and is called climax community. It is a forest.
