Solution:

Haemoglobin is a protein molecule found in the red blood cell which helps in carrying the oxygen. It imparts the red colour to the blood. It is made of four chains of 2 alpha and 2 beta chains of polypeptide. Haemoglobin binds to oxygen and forms oxyhaemoglobin. This molecule can carry 8 atoms of oxygen at a time that is 4 molecules.
