(2) Psammophytes Plants growing on sand ie, these are adapted to grow into sandy soil. Thus, these are also known as sand loving plants. (3) Oxalophytes Plants growing in acidic soil. (4) Lithophytes Plants growing on the surface of rocks. (5) Chasmophytes Plants growing in the crevices of rocks.
