Solution:
• An impairment affecting synthesis or release of ADH results in a diminished ability of the kidney to conserve water leading to water loss & dehydration This condition is known as Diabetes lnsipidus. Absence of ADH reduces the reabsorption of water in DCT causing dilute and increased urine
• In ADH deficiency volume of urine increase
• Volume of urine is regulated by ADH & aldosterone The problem of increased urination is called diuresis
