Androgen is a group of steroid hormones including
testosterone, androsterone and dihydrotestosterone. This
hormone is secreted by testes and control secondary sexual
characters and development of reproductive organs in male.
Androgen are produced when stimulated with luteinising
hormone but they are also secreted in smaller amounts by
adrenal glands (cortex) and the ovaries
